You could say food and finance have been part of my story from the very beginning. I grew up working in my family’s ice cream shop and my uncle’s sub shop before earning a Finance degree and starting my career at mutual fund companies.

But my true passion pulled me back to the food industry.

I launched a catering business of my own and later purchased a pizza restaurant next door. For 12 years, I lived the life of a restaurant owner — managing staff, balancing food costs, and learning firsthand the financial pressures that come with running a kitchen.

After selling both businesses, I combined my finance background and restaurant experience to create The Food Bookkeeper, a bookkeeping agency built exclusively for the food & beverage industry.

What sets me apart is that I’ve been in your shoes. I understand the challenges of late nights, slim margins, and making tough calls. Today, I use that experience — along with my expertise in bookkeeping and QuickBooks — to help restaurant owners like you protect profits, stay compliant, and finally feel in control of your numbers.
