Founder

CBA Bookkeeping was founded by Chris Adams, who got her first taste of bookkeeping while working for an accounting firm way back in high school. She now holds a degree in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University as well as being a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. Chris’s past experience has been working for mutual fund companies, starting and running a catering and meal prep business for 12 years before she successfully sold the business. In that time, she also purchased an existing pizza business and was able to sell that business after 4 years of growing it so she truly understands what starting and running a business entail and understands the demands it puts on business owners.

After the sale of the businesses, she continued her entrepreneurship and started this virtual bookkeeping business as she quickly learned while owning her own business the love of “knowing her numbers”, figuring out ways to decrease expenses, keeping her own books up-to-date, etc.

Brent has built a strong foundation through his 15 years as an Owner and Operator of small businesses, where he gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges and needs of business owners. His extensive consulting background includes five years advising on private equity, liquidation processes, and mergers and acquisitions, offering him a broad perspective on financial optimization and strategic planning. Additionally, Brent has spent the last five years providing CFO and COO services across multiple industries, allowing him to deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable results.
